Show all your photos from subfolders in one place.

Have you ever had lots of different folders within folders with subfolders etc.? Photos and videos sitting on a hard drive and collect dust. I never never knew how to quickly find and pull images from my old hard drives. Now there is a way to view and filter all your files by type or date, all in a cool asset management app called Adobe Bridge.

SELECT HARD DRIVE

Once you open up the app, select your hard drive from the Folders panel.

SHOW ITEMS FROM SUBFOLDERS

With your hard drive selected, go to View tab and click ‘Show Items from Subfolders’.

Now all you have to do is sit back and wait until Adobe Bridge finishes pulling all the folders from your hard drive. After this is done all your files should appear in the Content panel.

FILTER BY TYPE

Now go to ‘Filter’ panel and open up ‘File Type’ tab, then tick the file format that you would like to show.

Now you can quickly flick through thousands of photos without leaving this Content Panel and with the latest update from Adobe, you can now Copy, Cut and Paste assets from your typical Finder(MAC)/Windows Explorer(PC).

I thought I’d share this with you guys. I find this feature really useful.
